Even though summer is still new, and on the horizon for others of us, I’m already thinking about Back to School. Call me crazy, but I am super excited about this new chapter in my life and getting back into the elementary classroom.
I can’t quite yet divulge what position I’ve taken, as I’m waiting for a more official announcement. Don’t worry, it’s coming, though and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
Anyway, I just finished this Back to School Memory Lapbook and I’m very proud of it! With the success of my End of the Year Memory Lapbook, I really wanted to be able to start of next school year with something fun, yet something that would allow me to get to know my students and give them a chance to showcase their creativity and individuality.
Let me side track here and just tell you how much I love Krista Wallden and her clipart. She is super creative and I just love all of her stuff. I’ve purchased all of her background papers so far and I have plans on using them all! They are all so colorful and perfect for classroom decor (*hint hint*).
Okay, back to the lapbook! Let’s take a look at the inside and how to use it!
I can’t wait to do this activity with my kiddos during the first week of school and get some pictures of them working on them. 🙂
