I teach in a self contained classroom setting and I quickly realized that I am sending notes home to parents about different things here and there, sometimes daily.

To help myself and save myself time, I started printing on sticky notes not only to spice up parent notes home, but also to collect data. Grab the free template here.

And if you’re anything like me, I use sticky notes for everything. I stash them everywhere and probably have 3-4 sticky note lists at all times. All sizes and in a variety of colors.

Maybe, and I mean maybe, you could call me a sticky note hoarder. No one needs 30 different packs of sticky notes, am I right?! WRONG. #allthestickynotes

There are so many ways you can use this quick tip, so today I want to share with you how to print on sticky notes.

First you’ve got to grab your favorite size of sticky notes. Here are a few of the most common sizes: 2″ x 2″ / 3″ x 3″ / 4″ x 4″

Step 1: Print the template on regular printer paper.

Step 2: Grab your sticky notes.

Step 3: Place sticky note over each box.

Step 4: Place sticky note paper in printer tray. Make sure that you place them in correctly so that when they page rolls through the printer, the sticky notes don’t get stuck to the roller. Each printer is different, so test it on a blank sheet of paper first.

Step 5: That’s it! Peel off and use the sticky notes.

Now you’ve got absolutely adorable to do lists and have a great way to send quick notes home to parents super last minute.
